Study the forms and methods of construction of Jorjan glass 3th to 6th centuries

Abstract

The Art of glass by Iranians have long been popular, but it could be the tipping point for 3 to 6 century AD at Jorjan . The works of this period are mostly jar and the designs are varied. Despite the decorations on the glass of the Seljuk period and at the end of this period, the importance of certain features, So far, systematic studies on the shape, decoration and construction methods have not been done. . In response to the question of whether Articles 3 to 6 th century Jorjan are influenced by the works of the pre-era, it is hypothesized that this works both shape and style of decoration is taken from the Sassanid era. The research method is historical – descriptive of the efforts made by way of glass 3 to 6 th century city Jorjan, methods and forms of decoration, it also has to be considered. It was concluded that most of the Seljuk period and method of making glass blown was influenced by the Sasanian period and have been freed blowing or blowing in mould. But in this era of increasing skilled artists in this field, we are seeing improvement in the quality of work produced.
