Is. The remains of this historical city, which will be described later, stand out in the form of numerous hills on both sides of the Gregar River. Recently, an inscription with decorated Kufic script was found in this city, which shows another facet of Iranian visual culture. Based on this, the problem of this research is what is the line structure and decorations and the symbolic element governing this new inscription and searching for evidence for the approximate time of its construction with regard to other Iranian altar inscriptions. The data of this article has been collected through library and field studies and with the assistance of experts from the two fields of cultural heritage and calligraphy; Considering the multiple divisions of the Kufic script, relying on the dual division, reading and drawing of the written inscriptions, based on the findings of this article, the script of this inscription is a drawing Kufic type with decorative sequences of motifs in the letters and the background of the work. In this work, the letters of the alphabet do not depend much on the surrounding decorative motifs. In different parts of this inscription, motifs are evaluated in the available and possible spaces in visual connection with the drawn line, and its line is evaluated on the border between the Kufi line of Mureq (leafy) and Mezhar (leafy and flowery). On the top of this inscription, which is most likely, the Mazari Mihrabi inscription; Different from other altar-shaped inscriptions, the writing is written on the reverse and the names of Jalalah are more decorated than other letters. All the visual evidences regarding the time period of the formation of this inscription testify that it belongs to a time close to the 3rd to 6th centuries (A.H.).
